SLAYER Frontman Makes Guest Appearance On New THINE EYES BLEED Album
December 15, 2011Canadian thrashers THINE EYES BLEED — who feature in their ranks former KITTIE guitarist/technician Jeff Phillips and bassist Johnny Araya (brother of SLAYER's Tom Araya) — have just released their third album, "The Embers Rise", independently via iTunes. The CD was recorded with producer Siegfried Meier at his Beach Road Studios in Ontario, Canada and features a guest appearance by Tom Araya in the song "Eyes To The Sky".

THINE EYES BLEED last year parted ways with guitarist Jimmy Reid and replaced him with Nigel Curley (EXCRUCIATING THOUGHTS, ATAXIA).
The band's self-titled album was released in April 2008 via The End Records.
THINE EYES BLEED re-released its 2005 debut for The End Records, entitled "In the Wake of Separation", in May of 2006. The CD included the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim". THINE EYES BLEED also took part in the mega-successful North American and European legs of the 2006 Unholy Alliance Tour, which featured SLAYER, CHILDREN OF BODOM, MASTODON and LAMB OF GOD.
